Romagna and the surroundings

Rimini territory extends from the Marecchia river to the Conca river, surrounded by marvellous hills, spotted with villages and castles featuring a rich art and culture tradition. The two valleys are divided by the Marano creek, the only natural river estuary in Riccione; along its bank in a groove of reeds hundreds of swallows find a shelter. Behind the shore marvellous hills reach out covered with smart villages in the middle of fertile lands that alternate to wild bushes. The Marecchia valley, crossed by the way leading to Arezzo, is spotted with strongholds, fortresses and wonderful castles dominating the view.
