Recipe: Mediterranean Tagliatelline


  • Mussels 1kg
  • Prawns 4oo grams
  • Sicily tomatoes
  • Arugola
  • Courgettes 5
  • garlic
  • onion
  • olive oil
  • brandy salt and chilli pepper

DIRECTIONS: Clean mussels and put them in a pan with garlic, oil so that they will open. In another pan put some olive oil with garlic and onion in equal parts, cook them for some minutes then add the prawns, the chilli pepper and salt, make them brown and pour some brandy over them. Short before prawns are ready add the chopped tomatoes (at least three big tomatoes for five people) that do not need to be cooked long. In the mean time the mussels will be open; remove the shells, add the mussels to all the other ingredients and let them stand for some minutes. Put the half-washer chopped courgettes and the arugula into the same water where you will cook the tagliatelline. When the pasta and vegetables are cooked combine them with the mussels and pour some mussels cooking water.
